The cut-off cut can be changed as required by adjusting the amount of water and setting the trigger point during operation. In practice, T-types are often connected in parallel or in series. This depends on the amount of raw material and the desired number of fractions (e.g. 0.5-2mm; 0.25-0.5; 0.06-0.25mm).

The feed to the T-Type takes place via a hydrocyclone, in the direct feed or via a pump. The control unit controls the NAFTAP discharge valve and thus the overflow of the T-type. In addition to the fine material, the organic components are separated in the overflow.
