Log washers are designed as single-shaft or twin-shaft log washers and can be used for washing/cleaning heavily soiled gravel, crushed stone or recycling material with a maximum grain size of 80 mm.
The counter-rotating blades loosen adhering dirt and convey the cleaned material through the trough towards the discharge. The log washers are usually equipped with spray pipes from above or optionally with upflow devices in the floor. The washing water flows in the opposite direction to the conveying direction and rinses off the separated clay, loam or wood particles via the overflow shafts. The dwell time and therefore the washing performance can be adjusted via the inclination if necessary.
We offer the right solution for every application. We can offer the blades in various degrees of hardness and materials, e.g. Hardox®. The shafts in the feed area can also be optionally coated with various wear protection materials, including Linatex® premium rubber.
