Inline blending systems

The patented inline blending process enables the production of a sand product that conforms to standards, even if the fine sand content (<250µm) in the raw sand is subject to large fluctuations. In contrast to a fraction plant, the sand product is produced and mixed together (“blending”) during the ongoing process (“inline”).

Specifications

As the raw sand is usually contaminated with organic impurities, our inline blending system is typically equipped with a light material separator (DMS).

For particularly difficult or inhomogeneous raw material deposits, in which both the fine sand content and the medium sand fraction are subject to large fluctuations, we rely on our duo inline blending process.

The duo inline blending system is an extension of the inline blending process that enables three fractions to be produced continuously. This is achieved with an additional T-type and an additional dewatering machine. In this case, the first classifier separates the coarse sand at 500 /700 µm and the fine sand < 250 µm is only separated in the second classifying cut. The underflow of the second classifier (medium sand) and the cleaned fine sand are fed into another dosing buffer. The principle of continuous correction is retained, but in this case the main product is mixed from three sand fractions instead of just two fractions “inline”. The excess material from the medium sand and fine sand dosing unit can be discharged either separately or as a mixed product.
